Trauma Informed Care will help LMT’s support clients with a history of trauma. MT's who complete this class will learn strategies and tactics that enhance clinical care such as

1. Detecting trauma responses.

2. Identifying instances where trauma may affect massage.

3. Adhering to scope of practice.

4. Making trauma-informed decisions for clients coping with trauma, pain, stress, sleep changes, anxiety and depression.

5. Making appropriate referrals for patients who have experienced trauma.
